We played artists upon the green,
he painted my portrait at sweet fourteen.

We rode together, had lots of fun,
still were children at twenty one.

Silence giving him a start,
he told me what was in his heart.

The minuet I can't forget,
it's memory lingers with me yet.

But Cupid arrow never tarried,
until the happy pair were married.

Happy moments were all of these,
playing hide and seek among the trees.
